DIY GRATITUDE CARDS

I’m writing this during what I’m calling “Week 5” of quarantine. I honestly don’t know what week we’re in, but for my family, it’s Week 5. And, friend. I don’t know about you, but I could use some common-unity around GRATITUDE.

I’ve created this fun, spring-colored gratitude card printable to use with your friends to cheer each other on in the habit of gratitude.

IDEAS FOR HOW TO USE THESE CARDS:

  • You and a friend (or group of friends) commit to writing something you’re grateful for and posting it somewhere in your house! Take a photo of yours and send it to your friend(s) each day!

  • Get your kids in on it! It can be the first thing they do when they wake up before they start their day. Let them use some washi tape and post it somewhere everyone will see it.

  • Make a bunting out of it by using a hole punch and some string!

  • Write your friend’s name on it and send it in a “Thinking of You” card with a few blank ones they can fill out.

  • What other ideas do you have? Post about them on Instagram and tag me and use the hashtag #gratefulwithwindandseed.

If the idea of gratitude is new to you and you want to dive in deeper, one of my most favorite resources is Ann Voskamp’s book, “One Thousand Gifts.” If you’re struggling with what’s going on around you right now and you feel unsettled by uncertainty, I encourage you to snag Ann’s book. It will be a HUGE blessing to you. Friend. You are known + loved without measure.
