While I def don’t condone the verbiage on the box (obvi), it did kinda make me chuckle. #80skid

Seester bought me a cordless immersion blender for my birthday back in May!! Thank you, Seester!!

First thing I made with it?

Yep. Homemade MAYO!

And, let me tell you, it is WAAAAY better than the “healthy” versions at the store + far healthier than the non-healthy versions. 🤤

And, the best part?!

It’s SUPER SIMPLE — MY KIND OF RECIPE!

The Most Simple & Delicious Homemade Mayo

THE MOST SIMPLE + DELICIOUS HOMEMADE MAYO

*Note: Your home temperature matters. If you keep your home above 72 degrees, I would recommend putting your wet ingredients in the fridge for a bit before making.

**Note 2.0: Fully submerge the blender before turning on + do not pull up at all until you see it start to decently emulsify.

***Note 3.0: You could use olive oil, but those I know who have tried it didn’t enjoy the flavor as much. Avocado oil really is the best option.

DO YOU HAVE AN IMMERSION BLENDER YET?!

During the fall, I found myself wanting to use one of these MULTIPLE times for delicious soup recipes, but ended up using my Vitamix instead, which wooooorked, but wasn’t really the best tool for the job.

This thing TOTALLY rocks.

I love that there’s no cumbersome cord to deal with!

No, you don’t need an immersion blender to make homemade mayo — I’ve heard a regular blender also works — but, I have no current experience with that to share. 🤷‍♀️
